Go to your local college (community college is a good start) and ask to talk to someone in the IT dept about ITY program/career options. Sit down with them and ask them the question you just asked Answers. They will tell you what types of jobs (and what kind of pay goes with them) if you get what type of IT Certificates or Degrees. Get one of the college catalogues (or this person may give one to you) and you will be able to see what courses are required for the certificates and degrees you discussed. Then you can make your decisions from there...
