Take your dog to the vet immediately. Poodles do not have white do dos, its melting. Get it out of the sun staright away and if possible stick him in the ice box.

If it is white and crumbly and only occasional then it is quite normal - your dog is excreting excess calcium from its system. You don't need to change your dog's diet - it is regulating itself. The calcium may come from bones or other sources. There is no need to consult a vet about this. If it is white most of the time and not as crumbly then you need to see a vet right away. It means your dog has a liver problem or some other problem that is severely impacting its body's ability to produce blood.

After it sits in the yard for a while??? Or as it comes out??? Did it eat a toy, and is possibly passing pieces of it? This is an odd question...call your vet... If it has been sitting in the yard for a while, its probably moldy and dried up...
