OF COURSE!!! They're true friends... also, sex happens because it's the society that you live in and the culture that affects the people. Otherwise, a man and woman can be friends without thinking about or even have sex. Why do the society today think of only SEX? There are other things better than sex, isn't it?
A man and woman can enjoy each other's company without going physical!

I believe that it can happen, but I'm not your average female. I have had male friends and sex didn't cross MY mind (I don't know what they were thinking about). Males make the best friends, they can help you out with you bf issues and they are sometimes more REAL than females.

yes of course,,,everybody can be friends without thinking any sex on thier mind, its all to you to control yourself about it. Just make friends with a person either girl or boy but just think of positive things about your friendship, never think about sex at all,,,,have friend as somehow you can talk to and share with your emotions and problems as well.

Yes , this the best thing happen in our life , so we call them real friends . Need not to be romantic with another second person we meet or introduce , and this is the fact .

not really...they will have thoughts of it but whether they act upon it is up to them..I do think men and women can maintain friendships but should have that mutual understanding of where the line to draw is..Only natural to have sexual thoughts about the opposite sex,but sometimes a friendship is just more important than sharing body parts...=)

Wy not. If both of them are interested only in platonic
relationship, they can sure keep sex out of it. Also,
if they find each other sexually uninteresting.

yes take me and one of my close friends for example ... I hung out with him all the time when we were both single.. we don't have feelings for each other it's completely platonic!
