Well. Visit Eilat in Isreal...
Really lovely place, its a tourism city, right between the border with Jordan and Egypt ((you may see saudi arabia when u're standing on the beach...))
This place is in the desert (like duh), bunch of high-class hotels (and some cheap boarding houses - if you dont want to pig out in the hotels' resturants :P)
In the beach u can find bunch of shops, coffee shops, resturants, souvenir shops, cloth shops, amusement park (nothing tooooo special), rent a yacht, underwater observatory, jeep tracks on the mountainy area, water ski and much much more...
No terrorism - and i mean it (0.0000000000%), very pretty nature, mountains, and ofcorse... GIRLSSSSSSSS!! :P
in august there are bunch of beach parties with some excelent Djs'...

Mombasa on the coral reefed Indian Ocean was gorgeous. At the time of my visit in1982 it was dangerous to go off tourist path. Wish that is different now.
