It's close, but, Joe Jimboy. No lie. Real first and real last name. But the other strange one is my daughter is named Caitlyn and when she showed up for preschool at age three there was another little girl named Kaitlin. My daughter thought it was neat, and so did the other little girl. The girl's mother, however, was furious that there was another girl with the same name, so she immediately decided to call her daughter by her middle name, Adair .. and she still does today, 19 years later. Can you imagine just "changing" what you called your kid after three years? Talk about an identity crisis.

Laughing like a drain at anyone who put Mercedes! That car was named after Emil Jellinek's daughter, Mercedes (a Spanish name meaning 'grace' or 'mercy')

I think the worst name I ever heard was Torquill (a boy I went to school with). My niece's name is Gudrun, which I still think is ugly though she is a really lovely lady!
There are a lot of names that you hear kids called which one can only hope are 'terms of endearment' (as in "Get yer a** in 'ere, Sh*tface!")
My daddy left home when I was three
And he didn't leave much to Ma and me
Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze.
Now, I don't blame him cause he run and hid
But the meanest thing that he ever did
Was before he left, he went and named me 'Sue.'
&c ... (Johnny Cash rocks!)

I swear that I heard the name LaTrina on TV once-for a woman. Seriouslym how could you do that to your own kid?? I also dislike Lion and Tiger for boys. (I'm from Sweden and I read in the paper about someone naming their kids that-in swedish. Weird huh? What if the kid grows up like a wimp? LOL.

I had a couple of friends in school that hated their names! You be the judge if they are the worst! One was Daria (which most kids pronounced Diarrhea) and the other was Crystal Shanda Lier ( get it crystal chandelier!) Both true stories!! I also once knew a set of twins named Haley and Nova! So you be the judge!

Apple. That has to be one of the stupidest celebrity baby names out there but I know there are lots more in the running. So I'll say Apple, but there are certainly a whole rift to choose from. Shylo is a close second.
