I take it you find out when you understand the word bisexual, so that means you are pretty adult and mature enough to live and let live. They're your parents after all, their sexual inclination has nothing to do with parenting you. Love them.

I think this a really hard question to answer, because those of us that have never been faced with something like this can say they our parents mean the world to us and we would support them no matter what...That's what we would all like to think we would do. But that's a shocking thing to find out about your mom and dad! Especially if you're kid or a teenager! You're going through a lot anyway, and then to have to face this too would be hard.
I think that if she has otherwise had a good childhood and her parent's have treated her well, she needs to just be reassured that this isn't about her or anything she has done, this is their decision and a choice they have made. Maybe they need to go to family counseling, and maybe and put guidelines out there, like mom and dad shouldn't bring their "Friends" home and around her.
I wish her the best!

Okay so here's the deal. I am a gay father of two young boys. They dont know I am gay. I have contemplated telling them for a very long time. And to be honest with you, I am terrified. I am afraid that they will stop loving me. So remember that odds are that this is just as difficult for the parents as it is for the children. I know that I love my parents very much, no matter what they do or the choices they make that will never change. I wish you friend the best of luck and I hope everything works out for her.

It would probably shock my socks off. After I got up from having a heart attack I'll probably carry on as if I didn't hear a thing. Some things are best left unsaid - especially when it comes your parents. It's strange enough to know that your parents are having sex with each other what to say with other people of different sexes. It would be way weird for me. lol

I would be glad they were honest with me and honor that each of us is different in our own ways. I think we all have bisexual thoughts, just some people act upon there thoughts and others don't. They are still the same people and love you just the same. I wish you the best in dealing this situation in your family.

For a youngster this could be really traumatic. As a mature adult looking at the situation, it is a private matter between your parents and whatever their sexual inclinations may be it should have no bearing on day to day situations (because it IS private).

What dif does it make? Some would say we all have a lil bi-sexualism in us. All you can do is hope your parents are happy, faithful and loving to each other...its all that matters in the end.

Certainly it would come as a major shock, but I wouldn't love them any less.

I would be very surprised, but would just ignore it, and live and let live. Their life their choice.
