You could try eating slowly....that way you get to feel full before you've had too much food.

Another way is to keep regular mealtimes. If you start your day with a healthy breakfast, you're less likely to feel ravenously hungry and consequently overeat at lunch or dinner.

Eat a healthy breakfast every morning to stop you snacking later in the day.

Drink a large glass of water once you get cravings as it fills you up, in half an hours time if you are still having cravings then eat.
Also chew food slowly too.

It's very important that don't skip meals and eat a balanced diet.
Only eat when you are hungry and cut down on carbs.

It works for me!

Drinking plain water (not soft drinks, tea, coffee or cordial) will help your tummy feel full.

Don't buy junk food. Don't go down the lolly, chips and junk food aisle at the supermarket.

Have a container of carrot sticks and a low-fat yogurt or cream cheese dip for when you want a snack.

Make yourself a container and place three meals and two snacks in that container, and you are only allowed to eat what's in the container, per day. It's discipline but if you really want it, then you can do it!

When you pick up food say to yourself. " I can wait and eat in 10 minutes, then put it back. Get in that habit and soon you will be eating less and less. I quit smoking 4-years ago and gained weight and this worked for me to lose weight.

If you can't on your own, see a REPUTABLE doctor for advice. Not some quack with a bag of diet pills or magic potion. But sometimes medication will help. That's why I said reputable doctor.

Put a naked picture of yourself on the fridge & cupboards in your kitchen!! That oughta do it!!
Snack on carrots or fruit, but don't pig out on them, as they contain natural sugars. Get a hobby, as boredom fools you into thinking your hungry, when you're not. Use smaller plates!! Join weightwatchers or something similar, then you'll be with people in the same situation & have some back up & support. Set yourself goals, & stick to them. Just get some help!!!!!!!!

Distract yourself, clean out the closet, rearrange DVDs, take the dog for a walk. Keep good binge food in the fridge, carrot and celery sticks( no dip ), red grapes, precooked sweet potato( peel it and eat it just the way it is ), at night decaffeinated tea. Good Luck.
