Bible says in Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses No.16, that…'God created two lights the greater light, the Sun to rule the day, and
the lesser light the Moon, to rule the night'. The actual translation, if you go to the Hebrew text, it is 'lamps'…'Lamps
having lights of its own.' And that you will come to know better, if you read both the Verses - Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse. 16,
as well as 17. Verse No.17 says…'And Almighty God placed them in the firmament, to give light to the earth…
To give light to the earth.' Indicating, that Sun and the Moon has its own light - which is in contradiction with established
scientific knowledge that we have.
Science tells us today that the moon does not have its own light.
This confirms the Qur'anic concept that the light of the moon is a reflected light. Its mentioned in Qur'an 1400 years ago.

Please come to the TRUE WORD OF GOD Qur'an.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah.

That is true.
They wont even believe that 2+2=4, if you will say them they will answer you that it is not 4 it is 5 or 3.

You're discrediting a Book (the Bible) that your master supposedly approved of... thus nullifying your Quran.

But non the less and for the record - the Moon rules the lesser light. The Bible did not go into a schematic or technical investigation of science. The Bible is not a science book dedicated to science.

The moon casts reflected light and by no means discredits the account of Genesis.

AS FOR THE SCIENTIFIC ACCURACY of Muhammad
* Thank to the genius of Muhammad, we now know that contrary to modern science, the Sun sinks into a murky pool of water which explains night time. WOW! HOW DID HE KNOW AND GET IT SO RIGHT!? The Astronauts confirmed that the sun actually goes into a large muddy pond and makes it night all over the world at the same time.

* ALSO - Satan lives in peoples noses. AMAZING! Science recently discovered "Do not disturb signs" signed by Satan himself, hanging in the noses of Muslims while they slept at night.

* Autopsies have confirmed Non Muslims have Seven Intestines and Muslims have only one! AMAZING! How did Muhammad know? He must have had an IQ of at least a whopping 75!!

Yes I am continually amazed at the accuracy of Muhammad and his Quran.

Just in case you haven't figured it out - I am being sarcastic. The Quran is as scientific as Muhammad was. And it ain't.

saying 'God placed them in the firmament to give light to the earth' in no way implies that the moon has it's own light...you're logic is flawed hon. It says the moon gives light to the earth, and it does. Furthermore, a lamp is just a lamp- be it electric or oil, and does not have it's own light... the lamp itself is just a conduit for the light.
You can try again, but the fact is you will not find any errors in the Bible because it is the word of God.

the bible never says anything about the moon having its own light it says God placed them to give light to the earth actually by placing the moon to reflect off of the sun is creating 2 lights one just working off the other

Yes you are correct, the moon simply reflects light from the sun. I have found some 'christians' that still do realise this though

Christian here!

It's obvious thet the moon only reflects light from the sun. Does that disprove the bible? Noooooo.

You are incorrect. The word translated in English as "light" in Gen. 1:16 is the Hebrew word, "ma'owr," which means light -- NOT lamp. Lamp in Hebrew is "lappid," which is also translated as "torch."

A lamp does not create light; it merely reflects light created from a different source, such as a light bulb or a burning wick, etc.

Where in the koran is it said that the moon reflects light; citation, please -- you shouldn't make any unproved, blanket statements!
