Once in a great while, I can "hear" what other people are thinking. this is limited to blood relatives ---my sister, my children, my father.....when they are thinking in actual words, somehow my brain "hears" the exact words. this does not happen often. Do other people have similar experiences? I sometimes wonder if other people can hear what I am thinking.

Sort of. It usually happens with people I'm close to also. My oldest son and I do it often. We will answer each other's questions before they're asked. You're probably wondering if there's a "sixth sense". The answer is, yes. Most kids and many animals have it. We're taught early on that this is nonsense and tend to brush it away as a coincidence. It's not. Some people cultivate it and do well with it. Others think it's freaky or weird and dismiss it thinking that they're crazy or something. Don't let it bother you and don't expect to "hear" everything, just enjoy what you have. I think it's cool.

When I was a small child, I could hear the thoughts of others and knew what they were about to say... it really drove me nuts, so by the time I was 8 years old I had learned to tune out people's thoughts.

Now that I'm 67 and have had a full life, I sincerely wish I would have kept that ability because knowing what someone is thinking can be a very valuable asset. I also understand that hearing people's thoughts is a good indicator of ability as a medium or a psychic and I could have done a lot of good in my life if I would have developed and used that ability.

Yes, I suppose so. It only happens to people I'm very close to though. Not in exact words but I know what they're going to say or what they're thinking about. Not all the time, just sometimes.

American Indian men relied on their woman for this.
It is a strong sense of intuition. Even stronger around your relatives because you are familiar with facial expressions, body language, tones, etc.
It's the same way that hair will rise up on the back of your neck if there is an eery silence around you.

No, I have never "heard" the word. However, I see pictures. And I can also "suggest" to people by visualizing them doing the action I want them to do. And yes, it is limited to my family and my mate.

Sorry. Too many yelling voices in my head as to be able to listen others' thoughts.
