SEEING IS BELIEVING (OBSERVATIONS ARE THE KEY)
1. An entity must first be proven to exist (by own observation), otherwise infinite number of entitiies can be believed to exist such as a pink unicorn or an elephant beyong perception blowing soapbells.
2. In court a victim is not accused because of sayings or witnesses, but because of logical assumptions and evidence (observations such as finger prints, etc.). The bible is nothing but a witness. It contains stories, but no evidence.
THE UNIVERSE WAS NOT CREATED
1. Assuming the laws of physics, matter can be converted to energy and vice versa. Matter, nor energy can be destroyed. Every event in nature is defined by motion of at least one particle and hence, it is logical to assume the universe was not created, as it will never dissapear (the density becomes infinitely lower, but the particles remain).
If God created the universe, who created him? If you say God was not created, I say the universe was not created.
WHY THE MIND IS NOT SUPERNATURAL AND/OR METAPHYSICAL AS CLAIMED BY (MANY) CHRISTIANS
1. If a man sleeps, his brain activity lowers greatly. This way a man can sleep without dreaming. When his brain activity is lower, so is his consciousness. I have slept 8 hours yesterday and have no idea what has passed. Hence I assume consciousness is linked to the brain.
2. No man can think without considering his senses. If we have a tought in the back of the head, we imagina a sound, an image, a smell, a touch or a taste. Hence, I assume the brain grew from the senses.
3. Animal evolution clearly shows an evolution in the brain.
The greater the brain:
- the higher the consciousness
- the more complex the creature's life becomes
- the higher its feelings
Yellyfish have no brains, but they do have senses, which also suggests that the brain developed from the senses. Hence, the consciousness developed from the senses.
4. Neuropsychological disorders such as bipolar syndrome or depression can be cured or suppressed. Hence, the mind is not supernatural.
Note: when people claim they saw the light at the end of a tunnel, just before (almost) dying, it is because there remains a thin light beam in the eye, just before it goes all dark.
LOGICAL FLAWS
- God is everywhere and nowhere.
Nothing is everywhere and nowhere, because where nothing is, there is nothing and where something is there is something + nothing. Hence God = nothing (as nothing (else) responds to this assumption).
- God is omnipotent.
a. I ask you: Can he destroy himself? If he did not, you have no evidence he is omnipotent.
b. Can he be greater than himself? If he grows, he is larger than he was, but not then he IS (now).
- God is omniscient.
For those who believe in God:
- If God is omnipotent (possible to do anything) and omniscient (knows everything), then how can he be moral, knowing the fact that each second a crime is committed on earth?
- God is beyond perception.
How was he perceived and assumed to exist? (God is not necessairy to explain the existence of or any event in the universe and hence it is not necessairy to assume his existance.)

You make a very good point. Let’s follow your line of reasoning further to more of its logical conclusion: let us reason, as some do, that Jesus is God. So, we now know what God looks like. He looks like Jesus looked when he was here on earth; so God is maybe about six feet tall, has a Jewish nose, perhaps a beard, he has the sexual genitals of a man, and he apparently weighs about two hundred pounds.
Continuing on, he died and as some say, his body was resurrected and he, with that body, returned to heaven, As God, Jesus now has his human body in heaven. That means that he also has the entire digestive system, including the mouth and the stomach. So now, there has to be toilets in heaven. And now and eternally Jesus, who many say is God himself, has to use a heavenly toilet, something that he never had to do in heaven before he became a man! ( Compare1 Ki. 18:27) So now there is sewage in heaven where there was none before. And smell. And where is all that sewage going? All this and more has to be true if we carry this argument to its logical conclusion.

God is made up of Father, Son(Jesus) and Holy Spirit. Jesus is a part of God and he is partly human and partly a God. There have been many debates in the Church because of this. But fact is that Jesus needs to be more of a human because he died and suffered at the cross. A God could not have suffered and so we would have not been rid of sins.

Hm I'll try ot explain.
The father, the son and the holy spirit are one.
So Jesus is actually God....in a man's form...but at the same time , the son of God.....they are spiritually one.
Another proof:
In the gospel of John there are two verses:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us
Jesus= the Word in flesh....that's why He could bea tthe elders in the synagouge when He was young....He was the word....He knew everything about it.
So there's your proof...hope you like it:)

Jesus is BOTH human and Divine. That's what the incarnation is all about. If you SINCERELY want to learn about Jesus, don't ask on this forum. Go to a priest, pastor, any other Informed Christian. A lot of the answers you've gotten so far on here are either from atheists or muslims.

God is perfect. Jesus is half man half God. His human half gave him the ability to die his God half gave him the ability to choose when he would die if ever. God Jesus christ and the Holy Ghost are three seperate individules but they are one. They are one in purpose. So one of them has just the same purpose as the others. It's like a computer three are different parts but they are all working together to accomplish the same thing (unless you are using Windows but ANYWAY) but you dont refer to a computer as a motherboard, proccessor, programming. It's just one thing.
Also Christ is Jehovah the God of the Old testiment there are numerour references if you want them just email me uniderth@ yahoo. com.
We dont worship Jesus Christ. We worship God the Father through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost.

I don't blame you for your major misunderstanding. Many people like you have wrong notions about God.I'll try to get across to you what i sincerely believe. Here goes...
Jesus, 1st of all, wasn't a human like the rest of us.We call God 'Him', not 'Her'(and not 'it' as in the question u asked) because of the notion that men are stronger than women which has been thought to be true for centuries. If u think God should be cut above us then get this straight...nothing is impossible for Him.
He created u and me and every1 else. And because He is so perfect and powerful in His holy way, He could become a human. God has a reason for everything He does.He loves us unconditionally and He couldn't bear to see us(His children and creation) do wrong and go way from Him. He didn't want things to become so bad that He would have to destroy His children and everything He made and loves. So He decided to come down as a human to our level and show us that if He could live as any other human and still not commit a single sin then so could we at least live relatively good lives and be faithful to Him.He faced all the hardships of any other human and even more than any other human could possibly bear. Also there was so much sin in world that if each person had to pay for his misdeeds...well it wouldn't be a very nice exprience. God did not want to see so many souls lost due to sin so Jesus came into the picture.God sent Jesus into the world to bear the weight of our sins,to pay the price for all the sins of sinners, dead or alive or yet to be born.Jesus's was an unconditional sacrafice.A sacrafice of His life.A sacrafice that involved loads of pain and suffering(watch the movie 'The Passion Of Christ 'if you want to know exactly what pain and suffering i'm talkin about).Jesus had all the power in the world, but He had a message of unconditional love to be delivered to us through his death. So He didn't break free of His cross and go to heaven in a gold chariot instead he died a dreadful death. There is no way to understand the Holy Trinity because that itself is the human way of interpreting that God is 3 persons in 1.We cannot understand God for God as you said is cut above us,who the hell are we to even try to comprehend the greatness of God?!Our minds are petty and we do not have the power to think like Him.That is why we find it so hard to understand Him and His ways.Even the fact that Jesus was the Son of God might not be literally true.I believe it is a way of expressing Jesus's power and His deep relationship with God in those times, for the way people spoke in those times is tremendously different. In those times the parables that Jesus told had symbolic meaning. As for understanding God(the Holy Trinity)it is quite impossible,we have to accept this aspect blindly. You might think it funny to do so but the moment you put your faith in Jesus and think more deeply instead of the superficial way we all normally think you will begin to see how your prayers are naturally answered and how life has changed for the better. As for Moses and the rest of them they weren't tools, there were messengers or prophets(or whatever you want to call them)basically they dedicated their lives to spreading the fact that God exists and He is good.
When it comes to defining God I'ld say its practically impossible.I do believe that He is a Power greater than all other though.I believe that Jesus is our Saviour from Sin and that in some way I cannot explain He is God Himself and part of the Holy Trinity. He was God in Heaven and Jesus on Earth both at the same time(God is omni-present and anything is possible for Him).
But whatever I may say, let me tell you that at the end of the day, it all comes down to belief, faith, hope, trust and most importantly, love.
If He could do so much for you, I think the least that u could do is believe in Him...

God and the Holy Spirit were inside a form of a wiseand great human. It is as simple as that.
To get you to the point, there is no need to think of him as a human because he already went to Heaven and is sitting next to his Father. Maybe he is there drinking wine and talking brightly. LOL

The italics in the king james bible are not for emphasis. It marks a re-translation.
God is human and monkey and dirt and stars. God is you looking in the mirror. God is the thusness that is thus.
