YES IT IS WRONG TO BEAT YOUR WOMAN! We dont live in the Stone Ages anymore. How about I come there and BEAT YOU THREE TIMES A WEEK. Does it make you feel more like a man to beat her? If so Then I think you have a problem in the bedroom. You must be very "Small" in the shorts. So you beat your wife to make up for your Shortcomings. GET SOME HELP!

No it is NOT right to beat your woman. If you have to hit her for ANY reason then you should go and find somewhere else to live. Because you do not love her. Get help because that is not a good behavior and there is NOTHING right about it. I hope she can HIT you when you don't listen

Yes, it was very wrong to beat your woman, because that is not God will for you so you should not smack her again and pray that God should help her change from her wrong ways. You too look at it very well, when you beat her you beat yourself. She is not your woman but God gift her to you. Stop beating her.

Please dont do that to her....You have no idea how much your hurting her....Ive been through that before and its really painfull..Dont follow in someone elses footsteps, you need to be a stronger person and change that chain of abuse that maybe ran in your family as well....whenever you feel like that just ask yourself...Why would I hit someone I say I love? If you care about her she doesnt deserve that...try other methods of releasing your anger...I like to go for a walk alone....you should think of what calms you down and try it instead of taking it out on her......I hope all goes well....good luck....and think about the consequences before hitting her again..........

coming from a male point of view, No I don't think it is neccessary to beat your wife, due to the concequences that could occur.
Such as court cases, and fines.
i would never beat any woman, unless it was self defence, and they would have to be holding a knife to my throat before i even attempted anything

Allah says in the Holy Quran:
"Men have the same rights as the women have but men is a step more then women."
This step more is due to that men have right to do jobs and feed their family members. But I think it is mentioned no where to beat your woman.
yes if she is doing wrong things you can take this step. but not severly beating allowed
