HUH?? Why would you want to focus on the cross? Thousands of people died on those things... it isn't about how he died, but that he died.

The bible is the source of all sources when it concerns the passion of Christ and the reason he bore our sins. More over you could read the mystical writings of St. John of the Cross (it tells you a lot about the cross and you bearing it also) St. Theresa of Avila. The way of the cross and Christ learned to obey through suffering by P. Raniero Cantalamessa.

And my best book about this is the world around you. Look at the streets the TV and the lives of people and your self. The answer is not far off.

You may have heard of the author. John Stott. The book is called "The Cross of Christ". It looks at all that Jesus did on the cross for us, from dying in our place, to healing our diseases, to assuaging the righteous wrath of a holy God. It is quite an indepth book, but very readable. It's for you if you want to delve deeper into the Word of God and all that the cross means to those of us who know Jesus as Saviour.
Hope this helps.

A good book to read is called the cross. You may have to search for it.

But why do you want to focus on that? Wouldn't it make more sense to focus on the man on the cross?
