Looks like a hebrew word that is transliterated into the latin alphabet.

Could be an alternate spelling of ezekiel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ezekiel has more info there.

Could be an alternate spelling of Azaziel or Azazel; the former is a seraph who fell in love with Anah, a granddaughter of Cain. When the flood came he carried her under his wing to another planet.

Azazel (Hebrew: עזאזל, Arabic: عزازل Azazil) is an enigmatic name from the Hebrew scriptures, possibly referring to a fallen angel or Satan. According to the Book of Enoch, Azazel was a grigori (also known as "watchers"), a group of fallen angels who mated with mortal women, giving rise to a race of hybrids known as the Nephilim. Azazel is particularly noteworthy among the grigori because it was he who taught men how to make weapons of war as well as teaching women how to make and wear cosmetics.
