HMS Belfast. One of the last ships to fire a shot in anger in WW2, and one of the first to fire on the beaches on D-Day. It is impossisble to list all of the important actions in which it took part, but the sinking of the Scharnhorst was just one. It's moored just near tower Bridge and is well worth a visit. HMS Belfast. My dad was on her sister ship during the war so he took us there to show us how he spent his time during WW2.
