I am 20 year old now and hadnt had a single date in 2 1/2 years. When I was 16,17,18 I used to date lots of different girls, there was this one time I was dating 3 girls at the same time, all of them were beatiful and smart. Some guys would just stare at them when passing by. In those years I dated like 15 girls. When I turned 18 I started working more and staying home. Little by little I stopped compelely going out. Now when ever I go out I get very tense , insecure, quiet, anxious, my hearts starts to beat really fast,I sweat like crazy, sore throat, which makes it really depressing. How do I get my confidence back and start meeting new people like I used to. My life was really happy back than, now I dont even want to talk about it. Any info appreciated.

The places you "go out" to could be the source of some of your discomfort. People change and you have to realize that you've changed to. You aren't seventeen anymore. You've probably matured since then. Maybe you aren't looking for a hook up. Maybe you want something a little more than just a pretty face, although having a girl with one of those is a definite plus. Relax. Dating and going out is about fun above all else. Just be yourself.
