There must be some since all Mormons are asked to do a mission to help convert more people to the Church of the latter day saints. As for some of the comments above, Mormons are not considered to be part of Christianity but a new religion all together. Christianity sticks just to the Old and New Testaments (small variations of book choices between Protestant and Catholic) where as Mormons have also the Book of Mormon. It is a whole new category so it isn't Christianity. Mormonism was created by Joseph Smith then passed down to Brigham Young the two big figure heads of the Mormon Church. So this should help some of the people who have answered some questions wrongly.

I would say that a Mormon is not a Christian because he departs from the historical Christian faith.
It all depends on how you define Christian. I think most people born in western countries think of themselves as Christians. But hanging around McDonald's doesn't make you a hamburger.
Jesus said, "Unless you take up your cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple." If a Mormon did that, he would be a Christian. If he didn't, like most "Christians" he wouldn't be one.

That's funny question since Mormons are Christians. Tha real name of the Curch is The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.
But I baptized one guy while I was serving my two year volunteer mission in the Philippines. Does that count as an answer?

in different countries and cultures there are different religions, I'm not saying Muslim is a bad religion but many things from the quran seem like the twisted version of the BIBLE, things are switched to the other side, and many of us know that but, have worked together and got along, in almost every religion we are looking to do the same thing to get through life, PLEASE KEEP THAT PEACE GOING! not everyone can have the same religion it mostly depends on personality and what we believe in.
