At the top menu bar click on the play tab and uncheck shuffle.

You go to the play menu and untick the shuffle button. Don't click he shuffle button because the music will play randomly.

There should be a button at the bottom of the player, one of them has a paint brush on it (changes the colour of the player) and the other switches between random and standard play.

click the shuffle button again should do the trick
shuffle key is :-ctrl + h once to shuffle again should remove shuffle

check the "shuffle" button is not on.. also upgrade to windows media player 11*.. much better..... *(free from Microsoft..)
