This is the funnest post ever. Do people really get offended by Pom or Pommy? Living abroad I enjoy the differences.
I hate admit it but English people do whine more than most, less than the Irish and Scott's, but can you blame them. The best way to bond with someone is to share common misery, English weather! Enjoy.

I've always found the fact that Aussies accuse Poms of whingeing to be hilarious. Whenever I've been abroad and come across Aussies, they are always the ones whining. In Greece, there were two girls moaning about the beaches; in Spain, there was a couple moaning about the weather; in France, there was an Aussie girl moaning about the hotel; in London, there are thousands of them bitching about everything about them; in Melbourne there were millions of the buggers! Even the accent is whiny. It's as if Aussies were genetically designed as biological whingeing machines.

As POM stands for Prisoner of Mother England I presume you are referring to the people that live in Australia - and Aussies whinge ALL the time. Who can blame them when they live in such a place without the history and culture and the wonderful people of GREAT Britian.

For myself - - well I enjoy it ... ;-) ...
I vote so I can whinge about politics ... Though obviously that is not the only reason to vote hee hee
I am a consumer so can whinge about poor goods or services ...
I do write letters to those that 'offend' it may facilitate change for the better ...
And I smile and Laugh when someone gives me reason - oh thats not a very 'pom' thing oops ...
Why do YOU need to know ... ? ;-) ? ...

You should try liv... existing in this political wilderness with most of our utilities owned by foreigners who are ripping the sh*t out of our economy. They'll be taxing whinging next!
