Why would you want to get on-line credit from a jewelry store? First, jewelery is a discretionary purchase that can wait (or plan way ahead before your engagement). Secondly, the interest charges are going to kill you so that you are paying an extreme premium for anything you buy.

If you need a loan for a very special gift ( a ring perhaps)
Get a loan from the cheapest source available then shop around for it. Use the internet to comparison shop for the product and have the right ammunition of use with your local shopkeeper. You really need to see the product to make the best choice.

You might try Kay Jewelers.

Also, Crown Jewelers does not even pull your credit report. They will approve you automatically. BUT, you will have to make a purchase for them to report to the credit bureaus. They will report your full balance no matter how small of a purchase you make.
