Men, do you find red-haired women attractive? and why?

I was just mostly wondering Why? I am a red head and men at bars and stuff always have to comment on my hair and usually add a comment like...well I have heard it all So please dont just throw out the old sayings like red in the head fire in bed etc I am just wondering what makes you like redheaded women so much (if you like them obviously not everyone is attracted to red haired women....) but in my life I find many men get really crazy about my hair colour while my blonde, brunette friends never get complimented on thier hair.

Yes, it IS very attractive... my first true love was a redhead and I'll never get over that, like they say. But to me, red-haired women means: a lady with lovely pastel-like skin tone with freckles (I love 'em) and most often, with green eyes (I adore them) and a personality associated only with a redhead, so far as my experience has been (and, I'm old!). Other hair colors are fine, but I've yet to meet a redhead that I wasn't attracted to as strongly as I've described.

As far as the guys at the bars go, they're just using your most unique feature to attempt a 'come-on' with their 'subtle little erotic (they think) messages... fire in bed, uh huh. Maybe true, but not exclusive to redheads...

The only other hint I can offer is that you stand out in a crowd (or otherwise), being red-haired... it's the least common natural hair color, so that alone demands attention.

Personally, I think in my case, it pertains to rarity to some degree. Blondes & brunettes are easy to find, & it's really easy to fake a guy out into thinking you're a natural blonde if you color often & keep the rest shaved. However, I've seen few people pull off a good red dye job. I'm sure it can be done, but it usually isn't believable. So, guys can get blondes & brunettes anywhere, but redheads are usually tougher to find. If your preferences lean towards redheads without a lot of freckles, this is even more rare.
My own personal preferences are for blondes or women with auburn hair. I used to date a girl who was a natural blonde. We broke up, then a few years later after she'd been married & had a daughter, her hair color changed for some reason. I found out she was coloring it, & asked her to let it go natural. Well, I went on vacation for 2 weeks, not believing she'd do it, but she did, & her natural hair color had changed to auburn. I don't know what came over me, but she said that night was the most passionate I'd been in months. I guess 2 weeks of abstinence plus a new hair color can drive a man wild!

Hello fellow red head. It's not just men you know. It's because of our eyelashes. Our eyelashes are so light they can't be seen and therefore can't define how beautiful red head's eyes are. But straight men wearing mascara is just wrong lol I was once what is perceived as "ugly" until I started to wear makeup :) Not caked in the stuff like lol Just a bit of mascara and some foundation to cover blemishes and stuff. Ahh to be paled skin lol

Yes I do and the why to that question isred-headed women to me are a big turn-on. I am currently married to one and she is very sexy but I can't explain why they just are. thats the same with me sweetie, i get the same thing, even my hubby of ten years said hed never go out with a redhead, and look at us now, and everybody keeps hitting on me, and he kind of likes it, he said hes proude to take me any where, cause of all the attention i get, he knows he has a good looking women with the redhair, thats what he says anyway, in some ways im starting to believe it to, its unreal, yet in school all i got was teased about it, and now im not left alone, cant explain why, so i just sit back and enjoy it, before it turns grey,lol
