On how many occasions, that you can recall, have you been on the better side of a cruel result, i.e. when your opponent has pocketed the first 8 balls all by himself, but you were the one to pocket the 9-ball - the only one you pocketed - and won that game?

It has happened to me only twice ever. What about you?

I have played a lot of 9 ball and I must say this has rarely happened to me. And in turn I have rarely ran down to the nine and missed it.
