Right now I have hair that goes a couple of inches past my shoulders. I have a heart shaped face. My hair is super thick; I'd like to make it appear thinner. Any ideas? Pictures would be helpful.

Take off about two inches, try long layering it. It makes it a lot thinner and forms nicely around heart shaped faces. Take a look at Jeniffer Aniston.

Just tell your haidresset to slice some layers in order to make it look sleeker and get a dark colour kinda chocolate brown or mahagony or blue black. Remember straight hair is great for us heart shaped
