i have a video clip and the file size is around 1GB.i wish to put it in a 700 MB cd.So i would wish to split the video into two part and put it in two different disc.So is there any free software that can enable me to do this?Thank you

There are lots of software packages out there that will allow you to split and recombine video clips. However, instead of splitting it, you might want to convert it into a different video format.

With so many codecs out there, some formats compress things more than others. And there are a number of good conversion programs from which to choose.

By going the conversion route, you'll only have 1 file rather than 2. Now what format it should be in all depends on what it is right now and how high quality you want it.
