Yes, even if I didn't know that it was there, I could still feel it. I've had the feeling for the past couple of days. It's hard to describe.

I'm the same way with the waning crescent. I can just feel it. I was born during a waning crescent two days before the new moon so I have always felt a connection to that phase of the moon too.

Moon does have a pronounced effect on a person, and usually manifested in its effect on the mind.
Go to any mental asylum, or mental hospital... The wardens will vouch that they require to take extra care on chronic and/or acute patients/inmates on a full moon or new moon. Even astrology recognises this. The tides in ocean (vouched by fishermen) rise higher.
Those who are fortunate to have their awareness enhanced and deepened the consciousness will look towards a full moon night to pursue their spiritual practices intensely.

That might be why I couldn't sleep till about 6 this mornin'. I guess thats one of the reasons I got called Sheep Dog back in high school, and the other reason was that I was in FFA (Future Farmers Of America) and I was the only guy in there that had long hair. Past my shoulders.

A full moon tonight you say.......could be a clue why I'm really getting into those classic "Lassie" shows on TV now.
