How do I open the door of my 2002 Laguna II with the small emergency key located in the main remote key. The key went through the washing machine and now doesn't work. My wife is on holiday with her in laws and cannot open the car door. I am abroad on business so can't do much. I remember there is a slot on the bottom of the passenger door handle, but am having trouble telling the correct insructions over the phone.
Thanks,

Steve.

There is a slot on the bottom of the passenger door handle.
It is in a little cover, that hides the proper keyhole.

Push the end of the key into the slot, and use the key to slide the cover rear-wards. The cover should unclip and come off.
Underneath the cover is a normal keyhole. Put they key in the slot and turn, just like in the old days.

This will only unlock that door, and may set off the alarm if the car has one, but it will let you into the car.

Don't lose the cover.

i had one of these, had problems getting into the passenger side but like the man says that's the theory key goes in a slot on the passenger side handle (there's some kind of symbol to guide you) If the key's been in the wash the car won't read it so she'll need to head down to the dealer with the log book and about GBP125 for a replacement

There is a blanking cap on each door handle, The front passenger door handle has a secret key hole hidden behind it.
Had the same problem myself.
