If the person your with has cancer and is given about a year to live, would you back out of the relationship? Or would you continue to date and maybe even be married anyways?

Stay and take care of him. I will say i really still love him even he has sickness. Cause my love for him will never change.

Date yes but marry no. Remember that u will have to continue with your life afterwards, just love every minute u spend time with him/her because it wont be for long that u will have him/her by your side.

If you are sincere enough about your feelings with the guy, you will sacrifice everything,but if you are thinking about your future family,you must decide quickly! If I were you, I will continue my relationship with the guy if I truly love him because you had promised him everything with no conditions!Just do the things that will make you happy,don't listen to other person,because I know that they will tell you to find another one that gives you bright future!

I would stay with the person regardless of his sickness! And if I were to be deeply in love I would marry him and give him the best time of his life!

ask yourself if you'd date/marry the person regardless of the sickness. if so, i dont think the sickness should get in your way.
did you watch 'a walk to remember'? Landon married his love even though she had cancer; she died soon after, but lived with him in his heart forever.

Isn't that like that movie with Julia Roberts "dying young". Date them maybe, marry them no. If you even develop a friendship with them it will hurt when they are gone. If my partner today told me he was dying there would be no way I would leave him but I wouldn't start a relationship like that.
