rap, and when i say "rap", i mean the ones with inappropriate contents in it, obviously that's gonna hurt the brain, and sometimes the loud beat of rock or rap can hurt your ears..which are next to your brain. lol.

The worse music for your brain is the music you dislike the most... Find the style of music that you could get "lost" in for hours.... personally, i can't stand hip/hop and it drives me nuts if i listen to it for prolonged periods (when hip hop is played back to back without other styles mixed into it).. but what really gets me in a great mood is country and classic rock. so the music that makes ya cringe would be the music that's worse for your brain, because frankly, when you hear it and it's the only music you hear for a period of time, trust me... say i was trapped in a padded room with speakers and all that played was hip/hop, and it played constantly for a couple hours, i'd probably go bonkers.

no music is really that bad for your brain since all music is a form of entertainment , but some researchers have said that hard and loud music tends to make a person much more violent , hard and loud music can be either rap , hard rock , heavy metal , etc. , and they are all said to increase violence...although i wouldnt believe that since i for one relax to heavy metal and hard rock .
