The DaVinci code is fiction. The author states that in the book.

The only legends about Jesus being in France, are connected to him being from Glastonbury. These legends popped up several centuries after he lived.

The Glastonbury legend claims the following:
* That he ws born there;
* That he was raised as a druid;
* That when he ws ten, he went on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
* After that trip, he went bck to Glastonbury;
* When he turned thirty, he left for Galillee, to preach the techings of Druidism;
* That he was crucified;
* That Mary Magdalene fled to Egypt, and then went to Glastonbury;

In the version that says he was not crucified, somebody else was crucified in his place. In that version, he fled to India.

* Mary Magdalene and him were married, and had single child --- Sarah.
If Jesus was a commoner, as is generally believed, the daughter would have been of no consequence --- being a liability.
If he was from a royal family --- as the Glastonbury proponents claim, then the daughter would be valued only for her ability to forge an alliance with other rulers. Since both France, and England were under Roman domination, any such alliance would have to have to either be with a Consul, or higher, or with one of the tribes across the Rhone river, or north of where Hadrian's wall was built. In either instance, any influence would have been quickly submerged into the requirements of the state.

the Bible is the Bible and it has played out through history just as prophesied, including now with 2500 year old prophecies from the Old Testament coming to pass with exactly the players written about that seemed "insignificant" for thousands of years, suddenly in the middle of our now-compact world's biggest messes.
the Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction that Dan Brown has tried to pass off as based on fact, but in fact the truth has come out it is not based on fact at all. even the churches and institutions he manipulates have come forward to say it's not true. Da Vinci code is a fiction book mostly using the research of previous writers - such as Holy Blood, Holy Grail - who admit they cannot bring the solid evidence to come to any real conclusion.
The Bible is a book of facts, historical, physical, spiritual and prophetic. literally a roadmap for life.

Have you ever considered that all of these are just FICTION?nobody in this world knows the TRUE answer.Regardless of all the answer you get,they're just speculating.They just THINK or pretend to know the answer .They don't! Nobody in this world AT PRESENT have met Jesus. What they do know about him is what they've read in the bible.
