Often People may say they have talked with the dead. The late James A Pike, a prominent Episcopalian bishop, said he talked with his dead son, Jim. According to Pike, his son told him: "I have masses of people around me, and hands lifting me up, as it were...I was so unhappy until I could make you know."
Since such experiences are so common, it is evident that many people have spoken to someone from the spirit world. But they have not talked with the dead. The Bible is very clear when it says:As for the dead, they are conscious of nothingat all." (Eclesiastes9:5) So if it is not the dead, who are speaking from the spirit world, who are speaking? Who are pretending to be dead persons?
Wicked spirits are. These spirits, or demons, are the angels who joined satan in rebellion against God. Why do the pretend to be persons who have died? It is to advance the idea thatthe dead are still living. Wicked spirits have also led many to believe the lie that death is only a change to another life. To spread this lie, wicked spirits provide spirit mediums, fortune tellers and sorcerers with special knowledge that only seems to come from persons who have died. In summary then would you really want to be guided by those wicked spirits with lies they promote?

Like, in the game Guild Wars? :P

Seriously, though -- No, I don't think they _actually_ do... but people can feel guided by their deceased loved one's actions, or something.

Although we like to believe that a loved one is our guardian angel or is giving us guidance in our lives, according to scripture Luke 16:19-31 it does not happen... but then again, since Christ has resurrected, who can honestly say.

No one rely knows because when Christ came, died and resurrected.... everything spiritual changed.

It would be nice to know that our loved ones visits us from time to time.

I've read of a way to put a unexposed Poloroid film to your forehead to see those spirits around you. I couldn't find the instructions on a search but have heard its been done before.

No but demons do. Have you read the story of Lazarus in the New Testament? There is a great chasm between where they are and where we are.
