I feel good when I'm exercising but the minute I stop I feel guilty. I feel I should keep moving all day but it is hard to think of enough things to do and everytime I sit down and it is still light I just feel awful like I'm lazy no matter if I've run 10km or none. When are you allowed to stop exercising.

I feel the same way, but I've learned that rest means I can hit it twice as hard tomorrow. Also, you make your gains during your times of rest as it allows your body to build new muscle and repair damage that exercise caused.

It took a lot of time before I realized this. If you fail to give your body rest you will be overtrained, tired, susceptible to injury, cranky, and actually your performances will probably decline. Sometimes, doing is actually doing more -- especially in the long run.

Make sure you have some easy days in your routines. And make sure you bust your hump on the days that are susposed to be challenging. And don't forget to give yourself a break from exercising. If you keep on pushing yourself, you'll burn out and exercising won't be enjoyable -- it'll be a chore.

Good luck.

Your lazy when you dont even TRY to excercise, your tires when you have excercised, and you need a bit of a break. I do 2 hours a day of Cardio, and a few weights every second day as weights bulk me up. You do know within yourself YOUR OWN definition of Lazy and Tired.

Good luck, we are in the same boat
