Let me say first off that i'm an aetheist. My question is; Many religions believe that Jesus will come back someday....What will they do when someone comes along claiming to be Jesus? Will they accept his word on faith, or ask for proof?

Of course they won't believe him. They will lock him up so fast and have him drugged so deeply, that the poor man won't even know what's going on. After all, if Jesus does actually come back, where are all those evangelical "preachers" going to get their money

Actually the Bible predicts that there will be false Christs. And that satan will even appear as Christ and bring fire down from heaven in front of people, while he's pretending to be Jesus. It says that satan would 'deceive the very elect if it were possible.'

Jesus said His sheep know His voice. That's the reason people should study the Bible and have a private, personal relationship with Jesus, so that they will know the difference between the genuine and the fake.

As it says in revalations someone will come back claiming to be the messiah, however this person will actually be the anti-christ and will set out to destroy all Christians, one world govenrment, one world religon, the whole nine yards, anyways, yes someone will come back claming to be the messiah, however true christains will be taken home before this time comes, the rest will have to decide on thier own, after the rapture people will have to decide who they are going to follow, wether they ask forgiveness from the Lord and are put to death by the Anti-Christ or if they decide to follow the fake messiah and are forced to live out hell on earth, the choice is thiers and those who have heard and heeded the warnings will not be here any longer to spread the word, they will just be remembered as "Church People"

The Biblical Jesus worked many miracles "so that they would believe." When He comes again, I expect He will do the same.

I doubt that everyone will believe Him, just as there were non-belivers in His time and non-belivers today. If one chooses to disbelieve, they can justify it by any means ("those were tricks," "that recording (or book) isn't authentic), etc., etc.). Disbelief itself is a form of faith--faith that what you are being told cannot be right. Many become blinded by this faith.

If this person claims to be Jesus than it might be the devil, the Bible says that one day he will come down to earth in human form and speak highly of Jesus. He will claim to be him but don't be tricked. The people who have faith in Christ will be able to tell. They have their faith and only the stupid ones will follow evil.

More people need to be reading their Bibles, it tells us that Jesus will return the same way He left, in the clouds....He also says that many will claim to be Him. But not to believe them because there will be the sound of trumpets and other signs given to ALL THE EARTH, even the unbelievers. EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW not just Christians.....EVERY KNEE....WILL bow to HIM AND KNOW HE IS TRUE

When someone claims to be Jesus, it is a sign that Jesus will nearly come back.

When the real Jesus comes, we would know without a doubt. It's all about about faith.. those little on faith will not reap the heavenly reward.

Is there anyway of expediting Judgment day? I mean I really want to see you religious types go to heaven now?
so that those of us that Love Life here on Earth can clean-up once you are gone because you think there is a better place called heaven-I mean I have begged your God to take you-O GOD PLEASE TAKE THEM-before they do so much damage to My Mother Earth that she becomes sick and dies from there wanting to have such a good life here before they go there. I hate seeing Her Tempreture rise like yours does when U R sick-I hate seeing her Oceans grow like you sweat when U R Sick-I hate seeing her tremble and convulse like U Do when U R Sick-but she is getting ill and like cancer in U she hasn't got the medicine to cure herself-The cancer has to stop being deadly-and as intelligent men we need to stop killing her and believing that IT IS GODS WILL-It isn't Gods will-and I wont accept your religion forgiving you for HER MURDER-We need to start to sacrifice our want for the good life that your Bible and Quran preach by blessing you with this imaginary place that exists only in your dreams orWEdie
