Well I suppose it would depend on where you got the dirt from! A compost Pit might have more calories than say a barren area. Then of course it would also depend on how many and what kind of critters were hanging out in that soil.
I have a freind who made his wife eat worms before he would propose to her. They have been happily married for over 25 years.
He being a nutrionist he could probably give you a more accurate calorie count but he's not available at the moment! Sorry!!

I'm not sure, but there are lots of germs and parasites in regular dirt.
