please do help me in buying the best camcorder. my budget is max of $500. what all the features i need to look into...

there are many camcorders... but i would say go for sony's DCR-HC 96... it's a little above ur range but u willnot regret it... if u want u can also take SONY DCR HC46... it is similar to the first one but it will fit in your budget.
Before u do anything just do some research on it... this site is the best 4 it...

Look, Sony has z best camcorders, but rlly expensive.
Anyways, there is that camcorder I wanna buy, it's price ranges from $240 - $370. It's:

Archos Gmini 240 camcorder

I dk if it is z best, but it's price is rlly gr8 and it's got everything:
-Mp3 player
-U can capture still digital photos
-U can play ur video clips on it
-It's got a 20GB storge memory
-U can directly transfer pictures from ur digital cam to it usin a USB host that is included
-It's a photo wallet
