IT IS BETTER TO PREPARE BEFOREHAND BECAUSE YOU WILL FACE THIS QUESTION IN EVERY INTERVIEW. BE BRIEF AND GIVE A GENERAL INTRODUCTION ABOUT YOURSELF REVEALING YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS, OBJECTIVES/GOALS ETC. DO NOT EXCEED 5 TO 7 SENTENCES AND DON'T TAKE MORE THAN 1 1/2 MINUTES.***

Don't just regurgitate your resume. Tell a funny or interesting story that will show your personality and the kind of work you've done or the kind of life you've led.
And by the way, the WORST thing you can do to destroy your chance at getting the job is spelling something wrong on your resume, job application, follow-up letter, etc. Spell check and have someone edit EVERYTHING.

here u could do one thing....you could really impress yourself upon the interviewers or make a complete bufffooon out of yourself. Actually this question is designed to test your confidence in yourself and about the work you do. So i suggest that you be sure about the contents you want to tell the duffers beyond the desk(dats how i categorise interviewers!) and tell it to them frankly without any hint of suspicion in your voice, however little it may be. It could be as general as your hobbies or as specific aas the chemical reagent you discovered in your chemistry LAB and just managed not to blow the lab up in the process...hahahahaha:):)...newayz gud luck!

When confronted with this question you are supposed to talk about your personal and professional goals. You also supposed to talk about you work history and any awards you may have received that are related to the job and why you want to be with the company.
