I've had asthma since I was 6 years old. A lot of people outgrow it. Mine improved but didn't go away. I'm 25 years old. I take Advair every day. Why are you reluctant to take Advair? If it's something you need then you should take it. Your doctor would know if you needed it or not.

Advair will control your symptoms-it's a combination of a long-acting medication to prevent attacks and a short-term medication to help you breathe better every day.

You can still play sports with asthma if your asthma is under control. There are professional athletes out there with asthma. Taking Advair is a step towards getting your asthma under control and preventing attacks while you play sports.
