It's because they're so afraid of being proven wrong. They have to be bigger, better than everyone else.

There is an answer to the first part of your question...

Christians have huge egos resulting from an insidious condition called "Spiritual Pride".

When one is led to believe that one has a complete, total and absolute corner on 'the' Truth, the secrets of the future, etrentiy, the very "keys to Heaven and Hell and are told (preached to) "CONTINUALLY" that they too are heirs apparent to thrones in Heaven and worlds without end...well...that is a bit "Heady"...

When one begins to think they have access to and can direct people to absolute power, eternal life and the wisdom of the Ages then that could most probably, at the very least foster a
"Big Ego".

Religious "Christians" have missed the whole message of the Master...in fact the church has made sure it's altered it and edited it to suit their own ends.

But since you asked. Brain size does not neecessarily denote superior intelligence.

It is not to make up for their "Small brains". But many times a percieved "big ego" can come from insecurity, since we know that we are unable to live how God originally called humans to live.
But I would disagree that true Christians have big egos, because if you follow what is written in the Bible, it calls us all the be humble, and not to judge eachother's sins. Many people however do not live this way, Christian or not.
God's people are called to love eachother AND thier enemies.

Life is all about love dude, and God is def all about love.

I'm always amazed how many people come in here and talk about things they know nothing about. You are a good example. All Christians have big egos and small brains! How nice! How are people suppose to respond to that brilliant statement? Are you a doctor? Do you have scientific proof to back this earth shattering discovery? Instead of coming in here and showing everyone your lack of foresight and validity why don't you just.....go away!

No; some christians are just caught up in the world, and think that they are better then everyone else. They don't really get what being a christian is really about and they want to give themselfs the glory and think they're some kind of rulers. I'm a christian.. but I think i'm just like everyone else.

Almost everything you say is built on assumptions and then you have the gall to accuse anyone else of having a small brain??? Look whose ego is showing---and I don't think you're a Christian

I don't think that all of us do. I think that maybe any that you may have run into who act like that simply do it out of feelings of inferiority. However, if they are true Christians they know that the one who is greater is the lesser of all men. The only way knowledge is received is it has to be given away. None of us are superior to anyone else regardless of race, age, religion, or lack of religion. We are all imperfect creatures and all are subject to the same ending....death!!!....Therefore, if they are truly Christians they won't discriminate or try to pass themselves off as being better than anyone else---because they're not!!!...

I do not call you mean things. Do you have to lump all Christians together? I am sorry some Christians have been sinful and done or said the wrong things to you. They should not do that, but at least they will still go to heaven! I am not Perfect, but I am Saved!

actually Abe Lincoln was raised Catholic, and while he abandoned it in his 20s, he remained a very devout non-denominational Christian for the rest of his life. Being Catholic in those days was a very big liability for those with political ambitions

Why are non-Christians so hateful? Is it to make up for lack of heart???????? Courage is found in the heart. Cowards like you will always pollute the media and life . I am not a Christian per say, but you are still an ***-hole. thanks for the 2 points!!!!LOL
