same exact way she is treating you. If she says why or to stop it, inform her you will stop once she does. Inform her that if she doens't like such treatment, then she will cease from treating others the same.

Treat her as JESUS would...
With love and care. You must love your Mother, no matter what pains you about her, as you would love your enemies and your neighbors. Each Mother is a GOD send to care for you and to nurture you. And if they cant, then you are placed in others care so that you can be nurtured and your growth not stymied.
Your Mother raised you as best she could, and if your the rebellious type, then you should listen to her as she has a lot of wisdom to impart.
She may not be abusive, you may be rejecting her at every point, so that she may think that she needs to be physical to get your attention...(the LORD knows, that every teenager thinks they know it all, and doesnt have to listen to ANYONE!).
Treat her like a person, and cherish her, and you will see an attitude change in her...
If not, consult your Pastor, Teacher or Councellor to go to bat with you in your need for help.
I wish you well..
Jesse

This is the wrong place to be asking such a question. If you pick the wrong answer, it could cost you your family. So be careful. Other people don't know you, your mom, or your family. Don't trust strangers for the correct answers.
Are you sure you want to trust a stranger? Please think twice. Even though they're trying to help, their advice might be totally wrong for you. Before you make a choice, just think about what will happen after you made the choice. Just keep in mind that there are other ways to solve a problem.
Go to someone you know and love very much, someone who is very honest and truly trustworthy, and will help you but will also keep your family together. Do you have a very loving, honest relative who you could stay with?
Hmm...the people who said to report your mom [by calling or talking to police] forgot to mention that there is a very good chance that the police will come over and arrest her and put her in jail. Do you want that to happen? Then you'll be wondering when she'll get out because no one will be knowing the answer. And, if a lawyer is hired to get her out of jail and fight for her in court, don't be surprised if your lawyer fees come up to around $10,000. But first you need to pay a $2000 bail to get her out of jail so she could attend court outside of jail. When she's put on probation, it'll be another $2000+ for a counselor or a psychologist. Looks like the money she's been saving for your college, a new car, or a family vacation all went to someone else. The police will be coming over with guns and putting handcuffs on your mom. Neighbors, friends, bystanders, anyone, will also be watching this. It will create quite a scene and you will probably feel embarrassed because it's your own mom being arrested. Tell me, is all this really necessary? One more thing, people are asking YOU to report your mom. They themselves don't want to report it for you because they don't want to get involved in your problem or the police. It's another way of saying, "I care for you, but that's your problem, not mine." If you do end up in foster care, don't think you'll be getting your own room. You might be sharing it with 20 other teenagers or kids. They're not always nice, and some may take your stuff and go through all your stuff or harass you in other ways. The bottom line is, two things can happen if you use the police for reasons other than to save someone's life (health, medical reasons). Either someone goes to jail (like your mom) or YOU go to jail.

This is a tough one.Well there are 2 things u can do.Either report to the authorities(this can really hurt her) or try to help her overcome the problem by yourself or with the help of your family.
There must be a reason why she is behaving this way.Firstly accept the situation.Next try to put yourself in her shoes & try to see why she is behaving this way.Perhaps she needs your understanding & a listening ear from you. When she is in a better mood, have a heart to heart talk with your mum.Just keep listening to her problems as she relates it to u & try to go to the root cause of it.Once the root cause is determined then u will understand & will be able to help her.Show her some affection as u listen to her. After all love conquers everything & lots of love is what she needs at this stage.
If she still remains abusive than u may have to seek professional help eg a counsellor or report to the authorities before it gets out of hand.Best of luck!

Hay, do yourself a big favor and get away, far far away, as soon as possible before something really bad happens to you. There must be another relative or close Friend you could go to. No need to treat your Mother in any fashion, just get away for your own good, before you get really hurt...God Bless You...take good care of yourself, you deserve much better...

~~ I see you have gotten advise to just continue to love her, to report her, and to be abusive in return... let me first tell you, NO PERSON DESERVES TO BE ABUSED!
Just because she is your mother don't give her the right to abuse you, and you need distance yourself from the situation. Yes you need to get yourself out of harm's way, but not to be hateful to your mother, but for your own safety, and you need to report her, not to get even or be mean, but because you love her and want her to get help so that you can have a healthy relationship with your mother.
By reporting her, there is a chance that you could end up in foster care, or if you have a relative that would be willing to take you in while your mother gets help the state may grant custody to them.
I was in the big sister program (it's like big brother's for girls) and the mother’s boyfriend was abusing the little sister I had. The mother was just as guilty of the abuse by allowing this to happen by not removing him from their lives.
She reported him and temporarily was placed into foster care until they could find a relative to take her in. Ultimately the goal of the social services is to reunite the family in a healthy manner, even if it means a time of being apart.
Write your mom a letter telling her that you love her, and telling her how the abuse makes you feel, and telling her that you are reporting her not to be mean to her, but because you love her and she needs help and it seems to be the only way for you to be able to help her get the help that she needs.
If you can, and feel forgiveness in your heart for her, tell her that in the note too, and close with I love you mom ... this will help her in the healing process for both of you.
Do not leave her the letter until you are going to be in a safe place when she reads it. You may have to mail it to her once you are out of the home, or leave it for her to find once you are out of harm's way, as the letter may at first bring her to more of an angry point temporarily. Once she gets the help that she needs she will treasure that letter knowing that you loved her enough to want her to get help so that you could have a healthy and loving relationship with her.
You do need to distance yourself from her, abuse is wrong, and you do not deserve to be abused. If you need to talk to someone, I’m not on line every day, but I am on line quite often, and would be honored if you would like to use me as a sounding board... I’m a good listener. I have worked as a crisis intervention counselor for 10+ years, and can help you through this if you like.
Good Luck to you
Bj~~

You still a kid at home? Report her because #1 you need to get away and #2 she needs to get help for her uncontrollable behavior. If you're not still at home, just call her every once in a while, drop by on holidays for an hour or so.

Treat her with compassionate understanding... she either has an emotional, spiritual or mental problem, or all of the above. You can't fix her problem all by yourself... get help from a minister or counsellor, for the sake of all.

Put laxitives in her food, keep her on the toilet and that way she can't say anything because she is too busy.
I would go to a school councelor or a professional and see what they can do to help.
