Well, if you want to do it the hard way - bananas, rice, apples, and nuts form the acronym BRAN; and we all know what bran can do to a body. Just make sure you re-hydrate yourself. Other than that, exercise is more important in losing weight than WHAT you eat, but just as important as HOW MUCH you eat. Use moderation. Small meals, spaced moderately apart, rather than a few big meals to last throughout the day. Big meals mean extra calories that can't be burned right away, and get stored (stored calories = fat cells) - eat small meals that are easier to burn.

Walking does not get cardiac rate much higher that standing around talking so it does not help much. Running is high impact. Do powerwalking (swinging arms)-- walking as fast as you can even if you can only do it 20 minutes.
It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).

Thats reasonable. After about 2 weeks try walking 45 minutes twice a day! Youre really going to have to work to get there. You do need some carbs for energy but you can cut down on them some. Lots of water get rid of soda. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Brown rice is good. Dancing is good to loose calories.

how i'm not sure i just lost 12lbs. in about a months time
when i was going to the gym working out i didn't lose a pound but once i stopped going i just dropped the weight. i didn't stop eating the way i normally do ( and i eat 2 meals a day and every night i have to have my edy's ice cream w/ nilla wafers, before i go to bed. it's a habit i had since high school ) so i don't know

it somewhat depends on how much extra weight you have, but yes, eat 150 calories every 2 hours you are awake no more, and don't miss any feedings. drink lots of water, take fiber and vitamins, exercise sensibly, try to sleep as well as you can. don't get discouraged...good luck
