thats alot of questions...if u want a fuller head of hair then you are looking for body. Paul Mitchell has a new product called "thicken up" which ive heard works great. try that. Also the haircut you choose can affect not having body (i.e. if it tapers downward). There are shampoos that aid with volume...AND for growing hair fast -this can be done by getting regular trims to keep it healthy and by using a Tea Tree Shampoo to stimulate the scalp for hair growth...this should help too! goodluck

Normal hair growth is 1/2 inch per month. You can speed it up to 3/4 inch per month by:
taking vitamins
scalp massage
wear you hair up (it protects it from the environment)
get it trimmed on a regular basis (no trims lead to ratty ends and lots of splitting/breakage)
use a satin pillowcase
use a boar bristle brush
do final rinse with distilled water
do not shampoo daily
avoid metal hair accessories

i have a sensitive scalp, so i make it a point that i use shampoos that have more natural ingredients.
maybe you can try using shampoos from bodyshop ( a specialised shop that sells beauty products made from natural ingredients. they do not have a lot of chemicals in their shampoos)
it is another good thing to have a good conditioner. afterall, shampoos may dry out your hair. having protein in your conditioner is essential. there is a shampoo in my country that has a shampoo made out of egg protein!
always eat a lot of fruit and vegetables to enrich your body, so that you will be able to have a full head of good hair.
do not blow dry your hair too often. it will damage your hair.

look up long hair care sites online, they have a lot of great information on getting the most out of your hair. Some things they say seem a little overboard to me, but for the most part there's a lot of great stuff.

When you massage your head it stimulates the hair follicles. Try massaging for five minutes or so every day but don't wash everyday because then your hair is lacking the natural grease which causes dry and brittle hair.
