Christians have a commandment to preach the good news of the kingdom to all nations, tongues and peoples. Some can get heavy handed about it though.

Actually all religions have there zealots. Im pretty sure you live in a nation where the predominant religion is Christianity. Your going to get it in a bucketful on the net from English speakers because they tend to be Christians as well. Obviously youve heard of those Muslims who believe so much in there beliefs they will do about anything. In Israel a prime minister was killed by a fellow Jew because of his beliefs. It goes on and on. Why do you think John Lennon wrote the line in the song "Imagine" about no religion. Even those with no religion can get rather rowdy about theyre beliefs. Love for your fellow man is sadly not a part of the equation for these folks. Somehow the higher power has become a hatemonger which is pretty sad.

They feel like they have to defend them so strongly instead of opening their mind and doing some research so they feel comfortable enough just to have a discussions.
They think they are right and everyone else is wrong.
I like to think we are all right in our own thoughts of what we want to believe.
We are all individuals and should think that way
How boring would the world be if we all thought and agreed with the same things.
Open your minds, read, research a little on every religion and then only take on what you feel is your own truth and what really makes 100% sense to you
Some are Teachers and some are here to learn.

Christianity is the world's oldest Multi-Level Marketing scam. Preaching about their beliefs, getting in your face and 'testifying' is a key facet of their marketing plan. It seems to be quite effective... they have scammed over 2 billion people, to date. As more people are learning to think for themselves, though, business has been dropping off lately. Give it another thousand years or so... they should be all gone by then.

"Selling eternal life is an unbeatable business, with no customers ever asking for their money back after the goods are not delivered." ~ Victor J. Stenger

"Businesses may come and go, but religion will last forever, for in no other endeavor does the consumer blame himself for product failure."  ~ Harvard Lamphoon, "Doon" (paraphrase)

Many other religions(other than islam) have secular ideology they believe that if you do good you will get rewarded by God and if you do bad you will get punished that is why Buddhist who believe in Karma are more nice to their fellowman and try to be better people and are regarded to be the most peaceful people in on this planet
they are more responsible then christians who believe it does not matter what bad you do on this planet if you except Christ and repent you will go to heaven that is why the western societies are irresponsible about many issues, and only people who are attracted to this are those who want to be irresponsible for their actions on earth

Well, I'm a christian and true christians shouldn't be finger pointers and dictators. I believe that what I've found in believing in God is the answers to everything. And I beleive that for everyone also. But I'm not going to pressure you into following what I say. I'm just going to show you what I found and let my lessons and life be an example to you of how God is and then I'll let you decide on your own.

I think it depends on the sites you are going to demographically or where you are living. Don't forget, that a huge huge huge portion of people that live within the western world where something like YAhoo Answers is available are Christian. Christianity also has the higest # in membership because it is so broad.

Because thats what bornagain Christians are told in God's word to do. We are obeying scripture, which is pleasing to God if done with a pure heart, and led by the Holy Spirit.

Mat 10:32 "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
Mat 10:33 "But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

Mar 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mar 16:16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

Because Christians want to spread the good news, the other "religions" keep it to themselves, usually, because they see no reason to tell everyone else the supposed truth they have found.

Time is going fast. Christians must show others the truth and the only way of salvation which is Jesus.
