Well I believe if you look around at the majority of people in america you will quickly find the answer to your question.
Deathly obese families that go to Walmart and buy 24 packs of cola and pour that feces down their throats til its squirting out of every fat disgusting orifice in their horrid bodies.
Water tastes better than coke in my book.

drinking x glasses of water a day is not conclusively proven to keep you heathy. those studies that say we need to drink 8 or more glasses of water a day are flawed and from the 1950s. I would advise drink water when your thirsty and thats it...
BTW coke is like 90% water anyways.....

I don't drink any water at all. I don't even remember the last time I even had a drink of water. I do take a drink of koolaide or lemonade sometimes though. I am healthy and don't have any problems from it either.
and when I was young, I was not allowed to drink any thing but water or koolaide. It has nothing to do with how you are raised.

My husband rarely drinks a whole glass of water in a day, whereas i drink a gallon or more. Niether of us seems to be bothered in any way. Although, I feel I am in better general health than him.

People don't drink water because it's not suitable for their tastebuds or whatever.
IF you don't drink it, you can get kidney or bladder infections, and those are definitely not fun. When that happens you get a really high fever, and feel like crap, so it's pretty smart to drink water so it doesn't happen.

diabetes ... and health problems if they don't drink water... sugar is addicting! ..
people don't drink water because they were probably not raised to thinking that water is really good for you and they were raised with a pepsi can in their hands. But yea... water is healthier and good for your body.
