In my opinion, I think brushing the hair would make it way more frizzy. Try using a wide tooth comb.

I have serious curls and find that brushing it just makes me frizz or the curls turn Afro like. I generally use a wide tooth comb, or rake and literally rake my hair.

I know hairdressers say its a big no no to brush hair when it is wet, but if I have lots of knots I can't get with the comb I often brush my hair in the shower.

Use a good shampoo and conditioner also helps and anti frizz products.

Dont comb or brush curly hair, unless i guess you are in the shower. When it is dry, it just makes it frizzy and it loses the cute curliness look!

comb it when people comb their hair its normally to keep it from being tangled and you don't want your hair to get tangled especially with curly hair. When people brush their hair its normally to lay it down but your hair is already curly it may make it lay down or worse make it become frizzie and you definitely don't want that.

combing naturally curly hair is ok for as long as you'll use combs that have wide teeth

Depends on how curly. If you have ringlets, you shouldn't brush at all unless you want a rats nest on your head. I personally like having a rats nest on my head because it is my style. I'll braid my hair and then brush it out, and my friend is brushing stuff off of my boob right now.... *pauses*

Anyways... mhmm

I have curly hair....I use a pick. I put comb in conditioner and pick it and let it air dry. Sometimes put a defrizzer on it too.
