Because the "devil" preys on people who are weak-minded and shallow of spirit. The weak have no recourse but to follow negative influences.

I do not think the devil makes anyone commit suicide. It is because of sin that we in this crazy world that sometimes causes us to do crazy things. Some people cannot handle things in life. No body including the devil makes us do anything. We do have a choice, It depends on what choices we do make. He will only use us if we let him.

LMAO...i can't believe people are still using that. Why don't you get a reality check and realize nobody makes you do anything. When you commit a sin, do you blame the devil for makin you do it? People are how they are, when they commit suicide it's because of a mental or chemical imbalance...not because the devil is whispering in their ears.....now I'm gonna go CHOSE to be gay because the devil told me to.

that's just Ur opinion if u'd actually talked to anyone who had tried to commit suicide that devil would be there last reason why, in-fact it's a mental medical problem and nothing to do with the devil, i didn't think many ppl since the middle ages have actually thought that way!

The devil doesn't use people. People use the devil, usually as an excuse to avoid punishment for their crimes.
Evil is the natural state of affairs. An immortal power is not required to persuade people to do it. Even dolphins commit murder.

I guess it's like when people convince themselves that they are happy in a crappy relationship, or too weak to leave, some people are too weak to resist the temptation. In addition, I think someone who commits suicide has some real mental issues because our brain is "programmed" to not let us hurt ourselves, that's why we jump if we accidentally touch a hot stove.

There is no devil. That's man's creation. People commit suicide for various reasons such as: depression, shame, hopelessness, fanatical beliefs. There may be more.

your a whacko too huh, people commit suicide because of a chemical misbalance or because the brain is addicted to negativity and suicide fits nicely into there thinking, the word devil is a word used by crazy people, are you crazy?
