I like the Christians who live like Jesus taught - they help their fellow man and are humble about it. I don't like the hypocrites who proclaim their faith the loudest, yet live selfish lives.

I don't dislike Christians. I dislike the idea of Christianity because it prevents people from being self-empowered and blindly accepting the injustices of the world based on some idea that it's happening for some higher reason other than man's inhumanity to man. Go to the pregnancy section. There is no reason a person old enough to contemplate sex does not know the very basic about her own body. Every other question (just about) is "Is this a sin?" "Is this bad" "Is this good?" People are too afraid to do or say or think ANYTHING for fear of some horrible punishment later. How does instilling that kind of fear in people help mankind?

I am not a Christian but all of my life I have admired my Christian friends. I am not a Christian because I don't believe (or have faith in Christ being a deity). But I admire the movement.
True that there have been many bad things done in the name of Christianity, and there have been many bad/evil Christians; but as a whole they do much more good than evil.
The Jesus Movement originated during a time and place of real evil. It continues to this day because it is able to transforms some of us from being selfish animals to altruistic descent human beings. Not all but some.
I am not a Christian, but I like the Christian ideal. I also like the Buddhist ideal. Or the ideals of Judaism. I like religion because it provides a framework where people are encouraged to be good to one another.
"Bad" Christians are those who are not tolerant of other religions or views. Bad Christians are those who are more obsessed with beliefs rather than behavior. I want more of us to lead "Christian" or "Buddhist" lives, regardless of our religion.

When christians keep it to themselves and out of public view (aside from a church on the street corner), nothing.
When a christian tries to flog their religion to people, or flog people WITH their religion, then there's plenty to dislike.
The trouble is, most fall into the latter category, ie. you. "I don't mean catholics...". Are you saying catholics aren't christians? In case you are ignorant of history, prior to the 16th century reformation, catholicism WAS christianity, there was nothing else except for the gnostics.
All other brands of the christian product - prostatents (oops, protestants) the morons (oops, mormons) the bastards (oops, baptists), the ruthlessans (oops, lutherans), and the fu**ingmental christians (oops, fundamentalists) are ALL descended from catholicism. Denying that is about as honest or intelligent as denying humans were descended from apes.
Oh, right. The most goosestepping christians - oops, I meant strident - reject that fact too.

It depends on the person. A lot of them are great people. But then there are those that force their beliefs onto others, who always have a comeback. Those that cannot accept another's beliefs be they different than their own, and can't admit to a slight possiblity that their may be flaws in Christianity. I can't stand be ridiculed every time by a lot of people on this site who just cannot accept others. I hate that.
However, for those who are not so in your face, they are always positive, friendly, and there to help if need be. It's horrible to be around someone where you have to watch what you say around them on the chance you may offend them.

PROS:
overall it guides people through life which is what religion is meant to do, it watches over them and makes sure they do the right thing, and makes death a little less scary. plus Christianity the most practical religion because its the only one that offers such a good afterlife just for believing in God. it is great to have something to believe in when youre lost all other hope.
CONS:
i think a LOT of Christians get too hardcore about it, many try to force their views on others, not realizing how uncomfortable it is (believe me, i have had my fair share). i think it gets in the way of some things in life. it is good for God and religion to have a presence in life but i dont think its any good for religion to rule your life. many christians discriminate against non-Christians and act really self-righteous... in my experience they are very narrow-minded to other religions and views and people. going off on a tangent a little bit, i hate that the church dictates what people should think about politics: gays, abortion, etc. there is a separation of church and state in the U.S., and it doesn't seem fair that people let themselves be brainwashed by their church as far as their political views. i think a lot of Christians get frustrated trying to "save the world" from hell and all that, what many dont realize is that other people actually have beliefs too. every religion believes theirs is the one and only, but my experience with Christians so far says that they are kind of arrogant about it. forgive me for generalizing.
overall they just offer "sharing" and "saving" even when it is unwanted. they are just very self-righteous. some of the other replies were very well-put.
i like this question because i have overall grown up without religion, but i find it very fascinating. all through elementary school and up until high school (which is now), ive had to deal with some close friends (Christians) harassing me about not having a religion. its really tough.

Why is it only non christians can answer this? I am catholic and I can telll you exactly what sucks about christianity.
it is populated by hypocrites that have a superiority complex.
Modern christs are at best a dilluted shadow of what they once were. they no longer base their beliefs on the love of the lord or encompass their morals around the bible and commandments. they are followers of convenience, they follow because it makes them feel better about all the crap they pull in their life.
To them they can screw up all week, and its all ok because they go to church on sunday.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. What I don't like about Christianity is their lack of tolerance of other's beliefs. They will argue you down to the ground and then when you won't capitulate they tell you that you're going to burn in hell because you don't agree with every little thing they say. Their last resort is to raise their hands and say "Oh, bless them Jesus!" or (my personal favorite) "I'll pray for you", implying that you're too stupid to know that they're right, they know best and you're deluded. That attitude is the cause of a great deal of the world's problems.

I'm a Christian but I can answer this...non-Christians [rightfully so] dislike the following about us...we generally have...
a judgemental outlook
a self righteous attitude that we are the only ones with the dibs on truth
a complete disrespect for other people's rights to their beliefs
no regard for the fact that people are sometimes perfectly content with their lives just the way they are and yet we insist on "sharing" unsolicited spiritual advice with them
Just for starters...

I don't dislike Christians, I dislike Christianity because it's based on fear. I also dislike it because it's based on a book that's filled with violence, sexism, and contradictions. I don't like that (many) Christians can't keep their beliefs to themselves, especially when others don't want to hear it. I don't like that (many) Christians tell me I'm going to burn in hell for eternity. I don't like how hypocritical (many) Christians are. I don't like that (many) Christians say nonbelievers don't have morals.
I'm an atheist and I don't belong to any religion.
