Additionally, how does a bible that is how many thousand years old, even contain the word homosexual which was not coined until the 19th century? It doesn't, after years of translation, interpretations and otherwise twisting the words, NOW the bible has the word homosexual in it.

Homosexuality has been around for about as long as heterosexuality, and that's long before this book was written by MEN. Men who are not perfect and are capable of mistakes. To think they are not capable fo that, insinuates they themselves are some kind of God, which violates the first commandment about having no other Gods before Him.

Let me just say to anyone who uses Sodom and Gomora as support for homosexuality being wrong...GET A GRIP. Had those two angels been women that the men of the city insisted on raping, it would have been just as sinful. The sin was not the homosexual sex, the sin was taking complete strangers, guests in your neighbors house and raping them. Belittling them, Using them for your own selfish, lustful, greedy desires. That is just as easily done between men and women and it is just as equally wrong.

As I read the bible I am always astounded at how little homosexuality is addressed. Yet almost every other story contains incest, adultery and polygamy.

But then the powers that be got their hands on it, put in things that they wanted us to believe, took out things they didn't want us to know...changed it all around. That sounds gross doesn't, Years back people thought it was gross to have sex with the same sex. Well it's does not techincally say that it is wrong in bold words in the Bible, but it's does tell you that God made Adam and said that he needs someone with him so he made a WOMAN Eve. God made WOMAN and MAN to be on this earth so life could go on. He said "Be fruitful and multiply" He did not make Adam for Steve and Eve for Karen

Anyone who has heard of the cities of "Sodom and Gommorah" knows that they were notorious hotbeds of homosexuality. Gen 19:5-8 "and they called to Lot and said to him, 'Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations with them.' But Lot went out to them at the doorway, and shut the door behind him, and said, 'Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly.'" The Greek word in the New Testament for homosexuality is literally "a sodomite".

God destroyed Sodom and Gammorah and turned anyone who looked back into a pillar of salt, the ancient symbol for wasted earth.

Lev 18:22-23 "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev 20:13 "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death."

1 Cor 6:9 "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals"

A lot of what's in the Bible is based on practical law from the time. The human body evolved to accommodate sex between men and women. Homosexual intercourse is more risky, physically. In ancient times, medicine wasn't as advanced as it is in 2006. Such bans on homosexual intercourse were health measures, designed to limit the spread of certain diseases and conditions.

It doesn't. Infact, there's alot of contradictions in the bible about homosexuality that sides with the same sex. Gay is a way of life, you're not conformed into it, you're not taught or made gay. You're born gay and if god didn't want us gay, we wouldn't be born in the first place now would we?

The book of Leviticus, but since it was written to the Levites, it only applies to the priesthood. It says something like a man sleeping with a man is an abomination.
