First of all Kudos to you! That's awesome that you have stepped up to your responsibility!!! Secondly, you just haven't found the right woman yet. SOME women, especially if they have never had children or been married are scared at the thought of becoming an instant mother. You should be happy that those women didn't stick around, let your son get attached and then take off. This would only cause unnecessary confusion in his life! I am sure that you are lonely and want someone in your life to fill that void, but my suggestion to you is focus on your son. Make him the center of your world. Let God put the woman that He has picked for you in your path...and when that time comes you will know it! Good Luck! :)

i think it's really nice of you taking care of your son all on your own. i think it is all in your mind that all women lose interest in you to know you have a son. There is nothing wrong with dating a single father. Don't lose your hope there is someone out there for every person you just need to find her.

I don't view it as a problem. Before you ask some one out, talk about yourself and mention about your son. If the woman is receptive towards you being a single dad, go for it. The women who lose interest cause you have a son aren't worth your valuable time. Don't persue them.

First of all honey I take my hat off to you for standing up and taking care of your son. And if a woman can't get with you having a son and being a real man and taking care of your responsibility than she is not even worth breathing the same air as you. And the same goes for men who react the same way towards women. There are alot of women say that they want a real man and when they are confronted with one such as yourself they take off running. Don't give up when you least expect it that one will come and she will love the fact that you are a responsible man and she will admire your strength and courage for standing up and being what you are A REAL MAN!!!!!! STAY SWEET

I give u many kudos for raising your son alone. I don't have any problems dating a guy who does the "single parent" thing. I find it to be attractive, a turn on heck I would even offer my sitter to a single dad so him & I could spend "adult" time together

Dating single fathers is an idea that is fine with me as long as the man is responsible.

i think it is the same reason that guys dont want to date a woman who has children. but that's not every guy just like its not every girl. u have to be upfront about it and let them know that u have a son. either they except it or they dont.

why would a woman have a problem? you are responible enough to raise your son. that should be a plus. anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. give it time the right 1 will come along

Personally I would see that you are committed. You care for your son and you love him very much. I think that it a great plus. I don't know why other women don't see that.

The woman is immature, not used to children or not wanting a relationship with commitment.
