Im eighteen and he is twenty-four. We have a lot in common and we both are interested however my parents wouldnt approve and i would have to hide it. What should i do?

Are you still at home and supported by your parents? (thats got nothing to do with it) Dating is dating, not living together. the 6 years? not important! Is he a bum? thats important. Sneaking behind your parents back! Don't, shows you as immature, introduce him to your parents as a friend, Hey he might not be more! then after they get used to him or not, Oh well as least YOU are acting like an adult, and you need to cuz at 18 you are!

I don't know you or your parents but if you love the guy then you should confess to your parents.Your a legal adult and you have the choice to love someone older than you.You can't put a age on love,look a Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes,Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore,so on.Look if you love the guy just say it.

If u really love him then u should date him no matter what the age is and u should tell ur parents that ur 18 years old and that ur an adult so u can make ur own decision
