Im looking for a serious relationship, but i still live with my parents and they are very protective, im eighteen years old, what can i do, if moving out is not an option just yet?

Instead of whining about wanting to be in a serious relationship, do something! Join a group, meet people--do something and take things one step at a time...You are only eighteen and have your whole life ahead of you!

Don't be in a hurry for a "serious" relationship. What's the rush?Besides, it's not something you can just choose to happen when ever you like. Have some fun with a couple years of not serious relationships. Get to know different types of guys. Believe me...the best years are yet to come. Don't get yourself tied down too early.

Well i am eighteen myself and my parents don't care if i move out or not. From my prospective, you have your own life now and so do i. You should tell them then they are not incontrol of you anymore. I have a longdidstant relationship with this guy in sacramento and i live in LA. Pretty soon i'll be moving out and i would be going to live with him. Or maybe your not ready to move out and your parents think that. I think you could have a deep relationship even though your not moving out. well i am in an open relationship.

I guess you should remain with ur parents . You can meet people people of ur age at events and social gathering. Family functions are also good idea . I will recommend meetup.com website . It is the best place to find social gathering about interesting things. You can date some one who is old enough and has its own place and job and every thing so you can start a serious relationship.

the same ways everyone else meet people, but the relationship may be unsuccessful even if you find one because of your parents so you just may have to wait until you can live on your own, you are only 18 you have a long way to go yet, its really too young for a 'serious' relatioship anyway.

Are you allowed to date or go to parties? Or go anywhere and meet guys? Do you go to high school or college? Are you part of a certain religious group? How about meet someone online on a dating site?

Find a cool local church group of same age people. It is a great way to have fun and meet new people in a safe environment. That is how I met my wife!
