The "ON" timer is set to turn on at that time. Go to the menu and turn it off.

Check if the TV has a timer that switches on at a certain time of the day. And also check if you have a timing device that switches on/off electrical equipments at the outlet. If that doesn't work, watch Poltergeist 1,2 and 3 for further instructions. DO NOT LOOK AT THE DISTORTIONS!!!

Timer...

BUT...one aprils fools trick on me was someone with a universal remote outside my house changing my channel one me.....son's friend

And then again is the day that a ghost did it. no kidding and not funny. it was an upstairs tv. the police said our city has a lot of haunted homes. the cop that came here had his own experience.
Indiana Ghost Trackers investigated and said haunted. (A book by a Christian author helped the whole issue of being haunted and it resolved it.)

Go with the most reasonable answer down to the most 'unlikely' until you know the reason.

Sounds like there is a timer set to make it come on. The "remote demon" probably did it while she was asleep one night.

Hey at least its not coming on at 11:34, thats hell spelled upside down

Either she turns it on, or there is something wrong with the TV. I would suggest taking it and getting it looked at by a trained professional.
