Satan is one of the temtpor entienies. created by the creator to try and lead people away from the creators commandants. many other religons have thier trickster entities. loki for one as an example. the cayote for another. also some female ones.
if there was no satan there would be only the creator alone and no need for this physical world.
read tolkens " The Shimerilion" the acual first book in the lord of the rings triolgy. It gives a reason as to why the creator has let evil into the world. yes there are others that give the same reasons. If you can find the jewish torah or its compainon (jewish mistasism) it will read similer. or any other precreation myths from other times and religions.
don't confuse the rebelious angels as evil demons. especilly ST. Lucifer their leader(it was supposed to be the garidan angel of this planet). they were throwen into a pit on and island of glass to awate the day of judgement.it doesn't say they can reach out and turn people to evil. that is a different type of enity

The crimes of "satan" in the bible are:

1) suggesting people seek knowledge instead of ignorance
2) suggesting people think for themselves instead of obeying blindly
3) asking "god" to prove human faith

Meanwhile, this "god" thing commits mass murder everywhere (twice destroying the Earth, pillar of salt, Sodom and Gomorrah, etc.) rapes a teenage girl named Mary, gets petty and vindictive whenever its petulant whims aren't obeyed.

Who's the bad guy?

*If* there were a "god" and a "satan", then the "god" is a propagandist and has a large number of complicit and ignorant idiots willing to help commit crimes for, and cover up crimes by, "god".

Meanwhile, "satan" does _not_ "buy souls" in the bible (there is no such story), does _not_ go on rampages and kill people, etc. Rather, "satan" appears only three times (the Eden, baobab tree, and Job myths) and is only mentioned in the Book of Retaliation - oops, Revelation. Interestingly, the Book of Revulsion - oops, Revelation - has not happened, so what "god" claims "satan" does is slander and false accusation.

even though satan is supposed to be the evil and god is good. we are born with sin. satan was a angel cast out of heaven. he gave everyone the choice of which path to chose. people pray to god all the time without anything having to do with satan.

People (and angels) worship God for what He has done and what He will do. Unfortunately I think your anger and a closed mind will keep from really understanding the glory of God, and what He's done for you. So rather than casually scoffing at this sham you think of as Christianity, why not get your arguments in order and prove all of us religious fluffballs wrong. I would suggest building on the research of notable atheists like Lee Stroebel or Josh MacDowell, as both set out to prove that religion (and Christianity) were a waste of time. Of course on the other hand, you are entitled to blow off this answer because it doesn't fall in line with your thinking, and that's fine. However, just because YOU don't believe in God, doesn't mean He's not out there (hoping that you'll find Him). I wish you luck and I hope you discover the answer that's there.

The bible tells me thatsatan is the great liar. My struggle to remain chaste and continue in a Godly lifestyle is only heightened by the influence of satan in the world and in my mind (because I am by nature a child of wrath-eph2). So yes I am against satan. I am going to run hard in the other direction.

Actually did you know Satan used to be an angel until he sinned and was sent to Hell.

People usually think of Satan as an evil figure. Which he is.

I sometimes wonder if I am Satan reincarnated. And If I am, and I decide not to destroy the world, will I go to hell anyway? I mean, it's not really fair to make an evil angel, know that he is evil, since god knows everything.

Then send him to suffer for all eternity...Yeah. Really good job.

Sounds like God was abused as a child.

Because he is out to kill, still and destroy you!! Right now I feel so sad for you because he (satan) is happy with you! You are blind right now, open your eyes and see the destruction that satan is causing, don't be his advocate, save yourself. I don't know you but I will pray for you for sure because this is nothing to play with honestly. Be Blessed. We have a choice to worship God, we praise God because he FIRST loved us, he sent his son to die for our sins did satan? No. Now we are able to go to heaven if we would just believe and accept that God is real and believe he did send his son to die for us.

Satan want's you to glorfiy him instead of God. By not giving him "a break" then you are going againts his plan. Adam and Eve cause this sin upon us for falling for Satan's lies. Read and find peace.
